It’s so cold out there that I saw a couple snowmen heading south to warm up.  And that’s not the worst of it.  We get to see that come Thursday morning.  We’re doomed I tell you!  Doomed!!!  I’m just gonna die!

Where is the Global Warming that Al Gore talked about?  I can use some of that right about now.  Better yet, let’s send all of this cold south of here.  Waaaaaay south of here.  To like some place like … Florida.  Yeh, Florida!  Let me invest in some orange juice concentrate futures first tho.

  3. It is a lovely and sunny 67* here in Florida and in a couple of days it will be in the mid 7o’s. I will take the gators and the snakes and I don’t really see bugs here. Only people with dirty houses have bugs. There are some fire ants though, but I have the once a year treatment to my yard that keeps them away. Yes, you enjoy your killer cold snap there while I sit here in shorts 😉

  4. ahhh the global warming part is over these ways! we’ve had the most erratic & frustrating weather. it’s mid-summer, well supposed to be. 2 nights ago i was in winter PJs @ bedtime, with an extra blanket … and then yesterday, we reached near 30 degrees in what was one f**ed up kinda heatwave for us, & its expected to be hotter today. it’s some weird old weather alright … i don’t like it btw … would gladly swap your cold for this heat! 😉

  6. Global warming is really a misnomer – climate change is more accurate, because it’s a dramatic change in weather patterns – which you are experiencing head on. As I watched the reports last night and saw the possible wind chill temperatures, I wondered – what will people with dogs that need to go out to do their business do? I mean, everyone would be freezing their little buttons off.

    1. I think debates and arguments about “global warming” are stupid and are not winnable. I’d rather have a discussion on how we can leave the world in a better place than it was hand to us.

      1. Also probably unwinnable in some cases. There are many discussions that could be had these days that would be unwinnable, since we all only see and hear what it is we want to see and hear, I fear.

      2. I’m not sure about that one. I think that there are too many people that would agree that it’s something that we need to consider. the ones that oppose it are out there anyway and think the world is flat.

      3. I agree it is something that needs to be talked about, but those very climate change deniers would not think anything needs to be done. Which, to my mind, makes it unwinnable. Hopefully I am wrong.
