Monday Evening

It’s a nice, soft evening here in central Minnesota as the last remaining days of summer fade away. It was a cool 46F (abt. 8C) this morning when I finally hauled my tail out of bed. One good thing is that it’s good sleeping weather right now. Then bad thing is the heat is disappearing. I’m gonna be up to my ears in pumpkin spice this or pumpkin spice that now that a new Fall season is about to start. It makes me hungry for comfort food once again.

We have a 60% or better for rain tonight. Darkness is coming earlier each night. The air is cool when I’m out walking. The geese are starting to gather up. I thought I heard shotgun blasts coming from the south. Duck season is on if I did. I’m mentally not ready for what I know is coming.
