I need 4 or 5 hours of my life so I can reimage my MacBook and restore it back to factory settings. Yeh, I think the time has come for that since I think it’s on its last legs which isn’t bad considering I’ve had it for over 6 years. I think I can stretch it out another year by doing this and then it’s time for a new one and sending this one to the recycle gods. A new iPad and a new MacBook. It’s gonna be a pricey winter this year.
We’re picking peas now to go along with the strawberries that I’m harvesting. I’m still holding my breath but my sweet potatoes are looking like they’re recovering. Everything is looking green and healthy and growing nicely. Things are looking up in my garden.
I really want to get back into my walking regimen but strenuous activity is still taking a toll on me. It makes me wonder if I’ll ever recover.
I have a regular visitor to my yard every morning. Bunny has a regular routine which now includes cleaning up the pea pods after I pod the peas. It’s kinda nice seeing all of this wildlife around my place. Except for the squirrels. Yeh, I still scare them every chance I get.
OK, back to actually trying to get some work done today.
The bunny wants to move in with you 🙂

Bunny needs to stay outdoors where it will be much happier. 🙂

Take it slow, you’ll get there . I’m learning it’s not that easy. Walks tired me out and I’m not as young as you 😂

Oh I like the flowers and your little visitor 🙂 Have you name him / her?
I hope you recover … slow and steady wins the race apparently 😉

I don’t think Bunny really cares as long as it has some food.

My peas aren’t ready yet but we have lots of lettuce and strawberries. For all the rain we’re getting the garden does seem dry.
Don’t push your luck health wise. Just take the time to heal.

I should be able to pick some more peas in a day or two. I may even wait until Thursday since the gummys will be here to spend the night. that will give them something to pick.

Hi there. Be easy on your body, so you can heal properly. I’m glad that your garden is doing so well. Rabbits visiting sounds lovely, all I have is squirrels, raccoons, and possums. Yuck. Oh and stray cats which is cute.

squirrels, raccoons and possums? are you sure you are not living in the Midwest???

Nope, New York is full of wildlife beyond rats. These raccoons are huge! And we have lovely woodpeckers, coyote, and deer.

I could do without the rats and the coyotes.

Me too. Luckily, they’re (coyote) not around often.

coyotes can get pretty nasty and pretty bold if they lose their fear of humans or if they’re hungry enough.

Hi, Jim!
And look a visit from the old blogging pal! I must enjoy the flowers and the bunny. I’m stopping in to say hello. We’re finally making the move happen from Southern California to Bend, OR end of this summer. I haven’t had a lot of time to blog, and when I’ve had time. Wasn’t motivated to do so. The thought of figuring out a move has been quite overwhelming. I probably won’t be on here long…but we’ll see. reading this post, seems that you injured yourself and trying to recover? I’ve been on my feet so much and up and down on step stools, I think I stepped too hard or stretched my foot too much and my right heel hurts to step down it for days now. Some days it’s too painful to do anything. I’m hobbling around like I’m 30 years older. So, I feel your pain and frustration at being less mobile. Okay- back to the grindstone! If you talk to Mel, tell her a big HELLO for me!

yeh, they think I had a micro stroke but I still have more tests to do and I get to see the neurologist again next month. fun, fun, fun.
glad to hear you’re finally moving. hope all goes well. 🙂

I’m sorry about the stroke – thank goodness it was on the “mild” side, but still! I’m sorry that you are working through that – thankfully, medicine has advanced so much over the years and there are better machines and testing methods.

It’s impossible – because I have to keep being on my feet to go through boxes, reduce, keep boxes – make new ones, up and down step ladders to put boxes up on shelves. I wish I could just sit and elevate…but Aug. 23rd will come sooner than expected and my hubby travels so much soooo someone’s gotta get it done – so I hobble and look ridiculous! 🙂
