Wednesday Morning

January has arrived in central Minnesota. It snowed last night and the cold settled in with it. It’s a rather tropical and balmy 8F (-10C) out there with a -10F wind chill factor. It doesn’t help that the wind is blowing around 16 MPH which just takes all of that powder snow and cold and makes your face red and wind burned. I hate it when that happens. But the driveway is clear of snow and the outdoor Nativity set is down and in the garage. I checked the bird feeders to make sure they had food and they weren’t frozen. Made sure the heated bird bath had water and I set out food for the bunny that likes to visit me at night. It’s time once again to look after the animals that come to visit and help them survive the bitter cold of a central Minnesota January.
