Five for Friday

It’s that time of week once again and let’s see where the ol’ brain take us this week.

1. I did the old one hand laundry basket drag to get the dirty laundry to the warsher and dryer.  It’s easy enough to sort with one hand but it should be interesting to see how I can somehow mange to fold it all once it’s done.

2. I’m shaking my head at the circus and the circus monkeys that are performing in the US Senate this week.  What a show to put on as if the final outcome hasn’t already been determined.  What a waste of time and money when there are so many important issues confronting us that needs addressed.  I wonder when we will ever again have politicians that work together to get things done.

3. All of my winter indoor projects are put off until May or June.  That’s a disappointment.  They keep me busy and help pass the time during these long and gloomy winter days that we have.

4. Big Boy over ate last night and left me a present on the bed.  I love my cats.  I love my cats. I love my cats.  Ugh!  What could be more challenging than making a bed with one arm?  I’ll call it a talent when I’m done.

5. I’ve decided that I want to try and grow pole beans this year in my garden.  Now all I have to do is work out a trellis for them top grow on and I’m all set.  I’m also going to stagger when I plant my potatoes this year so they don’t all come due to be dug up early September.

There ya have it.  Feel free to comment and/or wave a hearty “HOWDY!” on your way thru if’n you would like.

Thursday Night

I have an exciting south metro urbanite lifestyle.  I spent part of the day napping, part of the day playing on the PS4 and part of the day printing out some kid friendly recipes that I found on the net.  That and I watch part of the political circus on C-SPAN.  Yeh, that’s me.  Living life on the edge.  I make my own rules to live by.  I’m second to none.  Well, I’m second to the cats who think that my only existence to to support them in the life style that they demand.

But I digress.  I found some good stuff that should eat good later on.  Life is short.  I figure hat I have 30 or less years left on this earth.  Yeh, I’ll try to be healthy but why deny some simple pleasures in life?  No excuses and no regrets.

P.S.  Someone took me out to the WalMart so I could get some new readers and I got some BBQ afterwards.  Pulled pork BBQ and some good slaw.  Oh yeh!!!
