I had hoped to return one day to take better photos. Now I hope that I may return one day when it has been restored.

I think this is the part where you are to write something clever and witty about yourself.
I’m solidly locked in middle age and content with myself. I love to travel to see and experience new things, new foods and new drink.
I also like to cook and bake mainly because I like to eat. And I found out that I’m pretty good at both.
I'm not a professional blogger nor do I want to be. I'll leave that to others while I'll kick back and post whatever suddenly pops into my brain. I'm more spontaneous anyway.
And the rest we’ll just kinda sorta figure out as we go along. Feel free to leave comments or even just to say "Hello".

Macron has promised that it will be restored in 5 years, Jim. You definitely will get to see it again 🙂

At least you’ve got some beautiful photos. I think anyone (me among them) who hadn’t made the time to go see such a beautiful place, is now and will now regret that action.

Thank you for sharing, AF. I never had the opportunity to make it there, and this just makes me sick that this happened. God bless them, all!

Omg wow those windows are incredible! I remember when Windsor Castle Chapel burned down, British craftsmen rebuilt it and the French will do the same

I never had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful cathedral but feel blessed to have visited The Cathedral of Strasbourg…my heart goes out to the people of Paris and those of us who didn’t get to see its haunting beauty but hoped to one day.
