Hmmm. It’s that time of week once again where I do battle with my brain in order to defeat the dark side. Let’s see …
1. The Ice Maiden dumped 5″ of new snow on us last night and I’m actually OK with it. You can smell the moisture in the air. It snowed because it was too cold for it to rain. I imagine some are thinking “Well duh!!!” but you miss the point. It wants to rain. That’s a good sign that a new Spring wants to come this way.
2. Critter Alert: I am definitely feeding at least two bunnies during the night. The falling snow last night really lit up the backyard and I could see the two of them under the deck. It’s kinda funny watching one sit there and patiently wait for the other to quit feeding. I suspect that there is a third one given the tracks that I find.
3. That was a great workout getting the new snow off of my deck, out of the driveway and away from the mailbox. It’s good PT for me. “Yes” I am careful so I don’t stroke out or give my heart a reason to vapor lock on me.
4. It’s a great feeling shutting down a Division Manager who wants to argue but he doesn’t want to do any research first. He thinks I’m so stoopid that I don’t research what I’m finding. Then he just wants to bully me. Ha ha! That don’t fly any more. It just makes me laugh now.
5. Today is “Mother’s Day” … as in “Pay this mother. Pay that mother ...” and so on and so on. I would normally use a bad word after “Mother” but one never knows if and when there are lil’ ol’ grey haired ladies, little kids and priests around WP. I may offend someone so I shall refrain from typing that word. You can think it tho if you like.
Okey dokey pokey. That’s it for this week. Feel free to comment and/or wave a hearty “Hidey Ho & Hey!” on your way thru if you would like. You could also leave whatever naughty plans that you’re up to this weekend. That makes interesting reading.
The icky bad white stuff and the coldness (-11C) came back here. I thought it was Springs soon. The birds and the trees says Spring is near, but not the icky bad white stuff and the temps! “Pling”

Evenin’, Jim,
You could always use street lingo like “Mo Fo.”
I’ve been busier than an ant in an ant farm today. Jim, do you like chocolate covered ants?
I’m glad to hear that you manage your Medical restrictions in a healthy way and get things done.
We’re having movie and Tacos night. I don’t know what we’re going to be watching because Buffalo Tom wants it to be a surprise… I’m in charge of grading the cheese, dicing the tomatoes, chopping the lettuce and beverages. We will be having steak tacos and chicken tacos. Gunther got us a Lawler’s key lime pie for dessert! 👍👍

It’s hot and humid here. It rained yesterday and went back up to 30C. Today hot again, 28C . At least there’s AC here . Tomorrow down to 20C . Reprieve before it climbs back up. Not envying the cold though.

Thanks for the weekly update. The snow we had last week, has all been washed away by rain. You’re probably twenty degrees cooler than here. Those rabbits are probably wishing for spring, and hoping you plant a big garden. Have a great weekend.

my raised garden beds have a 16″ tall fence on the top of them. it’s kinda funny to catch one trying to figure out how the fence got there. it does a good job of keeping them out but they’re short enough for me grands and me to work in the beds.

I’m not too happy about your reference to “mother”. I have bills too.

Nope it’s the “water hole” here. That’s the translation of Trudeau’s name.

Cold here so no plans for outings. Having my 15 yr old grandson for the weekend so had to stock up on food! That boy can eat. Well probably play cards, games and watch movies. I’ll let him cook some thing if he wants, which he can’t do at home much.

I love cooking and baking with my grands but they’re only 7 and their attention span isn’t so great. they get bored after a while.

I can’t imagine having solid snow for as long as you’ve had it. Here we have your rain and rain and rain and rain. My yard is a mudball and places are flooded out everywhere. It is supposed to rain off an on for the next week, personally, I’m glad it is staying warm enough not to be snow, but it is a huge muddy mess out there for sure.

Yeh, it took me a while to get used to this while stationed at northern tier bases and I’m really not used to it. I like abbreviated winters.
