Late Winter

Two days.  Two late season snows.  It wasn’t much but it was enough to make the roads slick and greasy.  It’s a good thing I’m till working from home.  I’m not sure how I would have managing driving these past two mornings.  I’ve heard enough sirens the past two mornings to last me for the rest of this month and the next as well.

I look over my shoulder to see the sun trying to burn its way thru the clouds and you can see the snow flakes dancing in the wind as it tries to flurry.  It’s too cold to rain but it’s warming up but it’s a little too late.  It’s now just a question of time and patience as the days grow longer and the sun climbs higher each day.  I hope it comes soon.  I had some hopes when it melted enough to expose the dirt in my garden beds.
