Saturday Afternoon

It’s mid-winter in central Minnesota and it’s been snowing for most of the day.  The wind and the snow bites at exposed skin right now.  Everything is grey and it’s cold.  The plus up is that we’re on the downhill side of the winter season now.  The only question is how much time remains until it actually warms up and stays warmed up.  Well, no matter.  We have this month and March to get thru before we start some serious wondering about seeing some blue skies, rain and green grass.

Meanwhile I was doing some walking once again in the freshly fallen snow listening to it crunch underneath my pack boots.  All the bird feeders have feed in them and we topped off the bunny feed dish.  Patience is the key right now.  Patience is hard to have and maintain right now.  Two more months of this.
