I miss not having Boogie around on Halloween. We would pop some corn, get a couple glasses of root beer, turn the lights off and then throw in the DVD of the 1922 movie of Nosferatu. This movie scared the bejeebers out of me when I was a kid. I don’t think I could watch this by myself in the dark.
Do you have a Halloween tradition? If so, what is it? Hope you can view the vid. 🙂
Hope you can view!
The dead rise again, bats fly, terror strikes and screams echo, for tonight it’s Halloween.
It’s Brrr! out there this morning as I sit here with my last cup of coffee for the day. Three’s a nice strong wind blowing thru which makes you pull your coat around you tighter to stay warm when you’re outside. You can see the occasional flake of that white stuff and it just makes me wanna get back inside where it’s warm.
Miss Lily is at her usual post at the top of the steps guarding the front door. Boy Boy is laying beside the fireplace slowly melting into the floor. Anything else is too much like work for him and he is one lazy cat. I have to get motivated to get some work done but it’s hard to get motivated to do PowerPoint slides for a training that I really don’t want to give in the first place. But the boss says he wants it done this coming month and all I can do is salute the flag and move on.
Something is tripping my front door motion light and I suspect it’s a bunny looking for some food and/or a warm place for the night. It reminds me that I need to make a run to the farm store for some bird seed and for some suet for the woodpeckers. The rabbit food can wait until this weekend since there is plenty of clover still exposed.
I suspect we’re going to have a long and cold winter here this go round.
