  1. I am new here, just saw your post today and am still laughing. 😊
No, God wouldn’t have a bad hair day….I think. 🙂

Coffee now, this is tough. You must have cruel doctors or a serious medical condition. According to studies, some coffee is good for you.
Yes, I love my morning coffee too. 2 mugs of it….

  2. Regarding your comment up there– I already associate you with the president because you talk about him so much in your blogs…

You’ll survive without the coffee. It takes time though.

  3. Good lord .. how much have you reduced it by? Caffeine come down is hard and should only be attempted in very small increments. For example: If you have 4 cups a day, reduce to 3 1/2 cups per day for 2 weeks, then 3 cups for 2 weeks etc. Otherwise you’ll go batshit crazy and may do something you’ll regret but will make for a good story 😉

      • I’m No doctor, but I’ve done this before with coffee and smoking and other things … 😉 … slow and steady is better. So I’d go from 1 pot down to 1/3 for a couple weeks etc. When you get to 2 cups I’d be looking for a decent alternative – thats how I got onto organic coffee beans and the whole grinder and perculator routine. I’m on 2 – 3 cups at the most in a day and look forward to the morning routine 🙂
For your pot, maybe if you’re at 1/2 cup of beans then reduce to 1/4 cup of beans while you reduce the actual amount … 1/4 cup is better than No beans or that crappy decaf 😉
Oh, and lots of water and a tonne of painkillers each time you cut down.
Peace be with you my friend! You have my deepest deepest sympathies ❤

  4. well if you are feeling lethargic then perhaps have your doctor give you a stimulant med…LOL…or you could consult your local street vendor! I rarely drink coffee anymore, no good reason why. I might make a pot a week or something.

  5. I am on caffeine overload most of the time. If I do not drink caffeine after about the second or third day I will have a splitting headache. Caffeine withdrawal I’m sure but I just keep drinking it or cutting it with half caf…so I can still drink the same volume without all the caffeine.

  6. Jim, don’t say you can’t give up coffee! I’ve done it a thousand times! You are 100% correct that God does not have bad hair. He doesn’t have ANY hair… it fell out when He quit drinking coffee! 👍😒👍🍵

  8. lol! I laugh because I thought it was funny, but in real life here, you are probably giving the evil eye. I rarely drink anything caffeinated. I don’t drink soda (maybe once every 8-9 months but used to drink tons back in the day) or coffee (used to many moons ago…and on an occasion). I do it by choice, not because I had to. The only thing about coffee I like, is the smell of it when it is being brewed…oooops, I am just going to leave here and hopefully I do…alive. lol!
