  1. Really you have your coffee sweet and with lots of milk? That’s barbaric! O.O

Nice strong coffee. Black. Nothing added but well roasted beans freshly ground.
Then you can cope with only 3 thimbles full of coffee a day (1 thimble = 1 small cup, not a mug)

  2. O M G … *Having a moment of silence and disbelief*

‘Coffee’ can be replaced with the real stuff .. yah know, imported beans. I figure if it’s good for the Italians then its good for Us.

  3. I think this list will probably be an easy one for me since I eat very little of this stuff. I agree with the caffeine though. Too much caffeine is not good for the body. Try to reduce coffee consumption to one cup a day at first and then slowly reduce to half cup and to none.

  4. I hate sounding sensible but can your doctor’s office refer you to a nutritionist? They really know about food and can make dietary restrictions a lot more interesting and tasty. You already eat a lot of healthy stuff so it could be easier than you think. It’s just a thought… I noticed that lasagna, spaghetti, frozen yogurt …mmmmm frozen yogurt… weren’t on your list…

  5. I’ve given up coffee before. But I would substitute black tea which still has a lot of caffeine. 😀 You can substitute plain yogurt for sour cream, it’s not much different. Use Greek yogurt. And herring?? who even eats that??
No way now how would I give up chocolate :-/
Good luck on this. Maybe give up one thing at a time rather than going cold turkey on it all.

  6. Coffee, chocolate , caffeine, salt , stress is no good for dizziness (Meniere’s ) hubby gave up coffee as he didn’t want to give up his salt 😂 I would rather give up salt than coffee 😂
