It’s a cool 54*F (12C) outside this morning.  It’s nice walking weather even with the Moms and Dads that are making their way to work.  Summer is starting to slip away on me now which means Autumn weather is not too far away whether I like it or not.  I need to sit down this week and list out all of the outdoor chores that I need to get done this year while the weather lasts.

I found this piece of fungus growing in mulch bed surrounding my large crab apple tree. I thought it was interesting.

Time for som work I suppose.   🙂

      5. 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m still recovering from the flu. Been feeling like crap all week. Thought I was better yesterday went out and today back in bed.
        If I was over there I’d be home all day every day until it’s warm again 😂 hibernate

    1. thank you sweetie. I’d tell you that I hope it warms up so for you but that would mean it would be cooling off soon here for us and I’m not done with summer. 🙂

  6. I’m getting rid of all my mulch and replacing it with river rocks. I have been noticing a lot of slugs on my plants this month , they have all but destroyed my hostas. So yesterday in the 104 (feels like) heat, I moved bags of rock all day long.

    Oh, speaking of Autumn, you do know what comes after Autumn and even sometime in Autumn?

    SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

      1. When you live down here, you don’t have much choice about when to do something. It is HOT in the summer and won’t cool off for months probably. And it isn’t like I have a pool boy to do the work for me 😉
