I borrowed an idea from Miss Anna

The concrete pad for my garden shed was installed last week and I’m waiting until the end of the month when the shed is delivered and installed.  In the meanwhile, I have this big piece of concrete which makes for a nice drawing surface.  My gummys and I are hving a good time chalking it all up for now.  We’ll hopefully have it covered by the time the shed is installed.  The shed will cover all of it and I’m speculating that it will be protected from the elements (for the most part) while the shed is still covering it all up.  I’ll end up with a time capsule in that case.  It should be a 35+ year shed, so I’ll be long dead and gone by the time someone removes it to uncover their artwork.

I think this is the part where you are to write something clever and witty about yourself. I’m solidly locked in middle age and content with myself. I love to travel to see and experience new things, new foods and new drink. I also like to cook and bake mainly because I like to eat. And I found out that I’m pretty good at both. I'm not a professional blogger nor do I want to be. I'll leave that to others while I'll kick back and post whatever suddenly pops into my brain. I'm more spontaneous anyway. And the rest we’ll just kinda sorta figure out as we go along. Feel free to leave comments or even just to say "Hello". Find me at: https://mnghostt.wordpress.com.

  1. Beautiful art work. It would be fun if someone saw it in the future and wonder how that art was made and when. We found art behind walls in an old outhouse once. It was so exciting. “Pling”

    1. my new garden shed will sit on top of the platform. I’m going to have the girls do all sorts of chalk art and then sign their names and date it. The shed should protect it from the weather and it will be there as long as the shed still stays on top of it. I will be dead and gone by the time someone eventually removes the shed. 🙂 “pling”
