Definitely! I was thinking about a teenager hearing that song for the first time in 1969 probably did not have a lot of Sorrow to look back on or Bittersweet Memories but 48 years later, in 2017, a plaintive cry from an old pop song becomes Epic and immediate. It’s message is social and very personal, universally true and genius.
One of my favorite songs even though it is a bit grim but very honest. It probably means more today than it did back then… 👍🎧👍
