I think this is the part where you are to write something clever and witty about yourself. I’m solidly locked in middle age and content with myself. I love to travel to see and experience new things, new foods and new drink. I also like to cook and bake mainly because I like to eat. And I found out that I’m pretty good at both. I'm not a professional blogger nor do I want to be. I'll leave that to others while I'll kick back and post whatever suddenly pops into my brain. I'm more spontaneous anyway. And the rest we’ll just kinda sorta figure out as we go along. Feel free to leave comments or even just to say "Hello". Find me at: https://mnghostt.wordpress.com.

      1. thank you sweetie. you’re such a sweetheart for saying that. I’m feeling OK today. I’ve been better but I won’t complain. how the avant garde New Yorker tonight? out taking some more photos and living the dream?

      2. My life is soooo boring to be honest! I’m home making homemade pizza for dinner, going to do a load of handwashing, laundry and try to do a little writing (but probably not because I’m already tired). Summer is hitting here this week, so I’ll be miserable looking for shade. I’m not a fan of anything above 80°.

      3. a lady such as yourself is far from boring. the homemade pizza sounds pretty doggone good. it’s been a long time since I’ve made some deep dish pizza. I need to do that sometime but that will mean having to have a crew here to help eat it lest I blow up like a balloon. summer in NYC. sounds interesting.

      4. Lol, I get it! Today I’m making foccacia pizzas so a little bigger than personal pan size. I’m not going overboard. Summer here is nice except the humidity from being by the ocean and that’s what I hate.

      5. oh lord I know what you mean about humidity. we had some terribly hot and humid summers in southern Iowa when I was a kid growing up. the heat and humidity would go on and on and on and people would pray for rain. it was such a welcomed relief when it finally did rain.

      6. Exactly, it usually gets like that in August and I’m not looking forward to it. I’m praying fir a relatively mild summer because we’ve been at extremes the last couple of years.

    1. I dunno. there was that hot summer night that I was drunk and decided the city fountain was a good place to cool off. the poh-leese decided the drunk tank was a better place for me to cool off. 😉

      1. that was a long time ago back before you were even a twinkle in your Momma’s eye. attitudes were a little different then. it was more of “well, boys will be boys. haul em in and let em sleep it off. then send them home.”
