The market run is done and my rose bed is all taken care of for this year. It’s nice to get it done but it got me to thinking on how I really need to get rid of that cheap looking edging and replace it with some stone block and a cap. Then I got to looking at the west side and how I could pull all of that rock out of the way, extend it another 3 – 4 feet (maybe a miter) and then I could put in a couple more roses. Then all I would have to do is re-route the edging to the new stone, fill in what was rock with some dirt, seed and there ya have it. Then I could repeat on the other side of the service door for even more roses or maybe even some hydrangea.
Then I got to thinking that I just added a huge new project to my “To Do List” and where was I going to gt the time to do that one? Oh well. There’s always next year I suppose. I need to finish up with the list of things that I have to get done right now.
On that note, I’ll leave you with some shots of the blossoms off of my red crab apple trees. Maybe I could plant a couple pinks to go with these trees that I have.
That is one beautiful tree!!

the husband of the couple that had the place before me thought he was some kind of a landscape expert. he put granite rock all around the house. I’ve been getting rid of it slowly but surely. I can get rid of a couple square miters of it if I expand my rose bed and make some adjustments to the current edging. 🙂
