Question for you

Let’s assume that some Fortune 100 company approached you and said they would foot the money to pay an “all expense paid” vacation for two weeks to anywhere in the world.  You pay nothing.  They provide the money for everything vacation related (which could include a $100 USD per day stipend for souvenirs and other vacation related crap that you just can’t live without when you’re looking at them).  The only thing you provide is you and whomever and a suitcase with clothes and your time.

I would go _______ (fill in the blank) and take _______ (fill in the blank) with me.

See I’m so tired of the snow and ice and cold and grey skies that I’d take my daughters, SILs and my gummys and go to French Polynesia for two weeks to play on the beaches and in the warm water just to warm back up again.

      1. Madrid. I have never been to Spain and I am a brand ambassador for beBee.com, which is based in Madrid. The people are very welcoming and straight forward and from what I have seen, it is a beautiful country. I would love to meet them, but I don’t fly. However, beBee now has a NYC based location so maybe someday. 😀

  1. Really don’t know too much about the world to have a favorite place yet. But for now it’s Denmark (because people there are like..the Canadians, but perhaps, extra Canadian :D) with….I am not sure. I wouldn’t want to pick any one of my parents because they’d cause arguments over who’s my favorite. I think it has to be a cousin of mine.

  3. I would go to Japan (if I knew for sure that I wouldn’t come back glowing in the dark) and I would take my nephew. I’ve always wanted to see the country for myself and not just Tokyo.

  4. Such a fun post!
I would go to Australia and take my better half with me. 😀
Even if it’s not the location on the top of my list, but I think I’d run off to New Zealand for a bit too!

  5. I would want to go to the “Galician Caribbean” as the locals refer to it, in northwest Spain. I would have to debate about who I’d take. Just feel that warm breeze and white sandy beaches under your feet. yeah…

  6. I would go to England, Ireland, and Germany and whoever I took with me would have to have a lot of patience because I would be stopping every two seconds to take pictures and it would take six months to see all I want to see.

Or maybe I would just go to Montana….

      1. I put some pictures up on my blog today. I didn’t even have to leave my backyard to get the thrill of watching the Thunderbirds in the sky. I guess I don’t have to travel to get pics 🙂

      2. oh, loud noises from them screaming by in their electric jets is not conducive to forgetting certain experiences. I break out in a cold sweat and I have the urgent need to flee.

  7. I would take a tour of Europe with my son and grandmother. I would like to visit my cousin and friend in Germany. I’d like to go to Spain to see if I can learn anything about some of my ancestors. I’d also hit up Italy, France and England…maybe Greece too!

      1. Germany is a fun place to travel to. the food and wine is excellent and the people are very friendly. I still think there is no place prettier at Christmas time other than Germany, Austria and Switzerland IMHO.

your answer does pose a question. would the Spaniards be able to understand your Spanish with a Texas accent??? no worries. I’d just add a lotta sangria to Lisa and then see what happens. it sounds like it would be fun.
