Late December and there’s the sense and the feeling in the air that the winter has definitely set in. I know what’s in store for us. Weeks and days of weather that chills to the bone. It’s almost soup and stew season for me once New Year’s Day has past. Then we settle in for a long three months but we will fill the air with the smell of homemade beef stew or potato soup.
Oh wow FANCY! I don’t like lobster or seafood too much. Why don’t you post your recipes?? I could learn a thing or two about cooking from you. I understand if they’re family secrets though.

I Googled this one and found it on Ina Garten’s site @ http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/lobster-mac-and-cheese-recipe.html. Its good mac and cheese if you want to drop the lobster and just go with it less that. It’s awfully rich tho and you’ll end up doing a few more miles on the treadmill to keep your young, girlish figure.

I had one and I have an elliptical. I think I’d go with one of those treadmills that you can increase the incline if you so desired if I could do it all over again. walking is good for your heart and tightens the buns. 😉

Late December… this has a melancholy sound to it and makes me think of the colder, wetter days to come…keep warm and cozy!

Reblogged this on saywhatumean2say and commented:
I’m staking Jim’s suggestion about the meal fixin’s for the next three months and here is a recipe that I’m going to try first; albeit I may substitute a brisket instead. Since I’m the only meat eater in the house (aside from the 20 odd catz AND I MEAN THAT IN BOTH SENSES OF THE WORD) , this should last me for days. ~~dru~~

I have been browsing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally,
if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot
more useful than ever before.
