It’s looking a lot like that time of year again.

I woke up, looked outside and gave a little groan.  Yeh, there would be work outside this morning for this kid; but first a cup of coffee to wake up.  Actually I had two cuz I needed the second cup to get motivated to put some warm clothes on.  I watched as the plow went by pushing even more of that icky bad stuff up into my drive.  Ugh!

I know Momma C likes seeing pics of this stuff.  I would too if I lived in the land of perpetual sun and warmth.  I’ve even thought about being a snowbird but I highly doubt that Mommy and Daddy would liek me take the gummys with me.  I’m sure they would have some crazy notion that they need to go to school or something along those lines.

Regardless, I took these from the relative safety and warmth of being indoors at the time.  I’ll put some thought into going back outside later on today but I prefer to saty warm at the moment.  It’s cold out there.

I think this is the part where you are to write something clever and witty about yourself. I’m solidly locked in middle age and content with myself. I love to travel to see and experience new things, new foods and new drink. I also like to cook and bake mainly because I like to eat. And I found out that I’m pretty good at both. I'm not a professional blogger nor do I want to be. I'll leave that to others while I'll kick back and post whatever suddenly pops into my brain. I'm more spontaneous anyway. And the rest we’ll just kinda sorta figure out as we go along. Feel free to leave comments or even just to say "Hello". Find me at:

      1. Goddess I like that, yup I do have some starch in my collar and it doesn’t do my diabetes Any Good. I lived in Panama when I was very young and then the family moved to Truckee, California…talk about culture and weather shock. We finally ended up in Vegas and that can be cold too but hardly White Stuff cold. Well…most often not.

I’m in Sunny So.Cal now and I think anything below 70 is FREEZING. AND I hate sleet and ice. It makes for poor driving and more accidents than you can shake a stick at…

and I shake my stick quite often as it turns out but at least not often at snow. Tell the gummies hi for me.

      1. in the 70’s??? I know I’d be half nekkid. it wouldn’t be pretty and little kids would be saying “Miré un oso polar sin pelo”

I’d be saying “WTH did they just say???”
