Actually he just made sure that he is going to get some sausages in his soup. He’s low maintenance and basically happy to eat whatever he doesn’t have to cook himself 😉
Of course portapatet…, you can make potato soup in the summer, chill it over night, add: chopped cucumber…cilantro…black pepper…and sour cream and make a “killer” (in more ways than one) potato soup for warm days too. ~~dru~~
That does sound nice, indeed! I’ll keep that in mind.
I only knew this as Vichyssoise and although this is nice it wasn’t fresh enough for me on hot days. But the cucumber and the cilantro sound just right 🙂

I have a number of fond memories of eating potato soup during the Fall and the Winter. I still love good potato soup.

Me too! That’s why when coming home from work I informed Mr. Hubs that he would love to have some soup for dinner 😉
