I finished off the last of my Werther’s caramels. God I love those things and I should quit buying them but damn they taste too damn good. It’s hard to find some good, soft caramels here in the states unless you find someone that can make some good homemade caramels. I’ll hafta see if this is something that I can learn to do for myself. Maybe that would be classified as a “skill”.
So I was back in my garden today addressing another problem; cabbage leaf worms. These are some nasty little suckers which have been having a good ol’ time chewing p my strawberry leaves and then eyeballing my green bean eaves. I tried one organic solution which seemed to work for my green beans but did nothing for my strawberries. This meant braving a run to my store of dreams which I did somehow manage to survive.
I picked up the stuff that I was looking for, figured out the right mixture, mixed up the solution and commenced to doing some spraying. I went to check the results a couple hours later and voile’ we had a winner. Now let’s see if we get a crop or not. I had to prune off a number of leaves.
