It’s blustery out there this morning and I’m still hacking and coughing away in here. I hate March. It’s the month that I usually get a cold after lasting all winter without getting one. And then the damn thing hangs on and on which just aggravates the hell out of me. Then there’s the OTC cold medicine that throws me off feed and makes me feel “blech” to food even tho my stomach is growling to be fed. Ugh! I so need to get over this cold.
I have a few chores that I can do today that should help me get my mind off a few things and help kill some time.
Harriet Backer (21 January 1845 – 25 March 1932) was a Norwegian painter who achieved recognition in her own time and was a pioneer among female artists both in the Nordic countries and in Europe generally. She is best known for her detailed interior scenes, communicated with rich colors and moody lighting.
