We had a nice rain past thru here early this morning. It woke me up as the wind was howling and the rain was hitting the roof, the side of the house and the window. I laid there listening to it all thinking about how the wind would do that when I was a kid growing up. I pulled the blankets around me a tad more to stay warm.
I’m about 80% packed right now. The last bit will go fast and can be down in about 20 minutes. I’ll finish that later this morning and set my bags by the door. I have this ritual that I always go thru before I leave. We’ll be all ship shape in Bristol fashion come noon.
At least the weather is still nice around this part of the Hundred Acre Wood. It should hopefully last a bit longer but Fall doesn’t tend to last very long around here. It’s almost long coat season for me. Brrrrr!
Mmmmmm coffee! It tastes so good this morning.
I’m touring a vineyard in Germany this trip. I’m hoping they can ship some of that good stuff home for me. I don’t know why they couldn’t. That will be nice to have for Christmas. Speaking of which, I wonder if I can afford the two things that I have to do around my place next year plus a Christmas Market tour. I’m kinda thinking that “No” is the answer for now. I wonder how people with money live and what they worry about.
