Yea!!! One built and in the yard. Now all I need to do is to get the dirt with the cow manure from the compost facility , level it, fill it, insert the light post and let it settle while the weather eventually warms up. That should have me ready for planting sometime between now and Tax Day. No, I won’t show you the close ups because you would see all of the mistakes. A master carpenter I am not but I can live with this and set aside some funds for a matching one. It gives me something to do.
There was a big ol’ fat and sassy robin sitting up in one of my crab apple trees just chirping away. I like seeing them back because I know now the seasons are definitely changing. I can tolerate the grey skies and cool air just as long as I don’t see any more of that white stuff until next November. Preferably late November.
And work … ugh! The problems there shall pass as well. The down side is I’ve been so wrapped up with what is going on there that I just plain forgot to get my PowerBall tickets for tonight. Oh well. That’s a few more days as a working stiff. Funny how one day keeps rolling into another. Yanno, tomorrow night sounds like a good night for some pasta and a big glass of wine after just rehashing part of my day.
OK, so does anyone really actually drink green beer on St. Patrick’s Day? Me and a few people I know had a good chuckle at the suggestion of drinking it. I don’t know anyone of Irish descent that drinks the stuff. Give me a stout instead.
