It was market day today. One last run for stuff for Christmas dinner and Christmas morning. I was somewhat surprised to see how empty the place was when I got there. This side of the metro is usually busy with a good number of people off from work this week. That pattern must not be holding this year.
It’s wet and gloomy out there right now. No white Christmas this year. I’d have to travel north or even east to Wisconsin if I wanted to see some snow. And just in time for no snow, my new snow boots arrived in today’s mail. Yayayayayaya, I know it’s coming and it’s probably coming by the truckloads; but this is Minnesota and no snow for Christmas is just too weird for me.
So, we’ll live with what we have and figure out the rest when the time comes. It will patiently sort all of itself out all by its onesy The house smells of fresh baked date bread and it will be some pumpkin bread shortly. Christmas eve is gonna be one busy day.
